Tadd McKeown to perform senior saxophone recital

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. Senior Tadd McKeown will perform his senior saxophone recital at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 21, in the Barnett Recital Hall at Evangel University.

 There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.

 McKeown’s performance will include the following pieces:

  • Fantaisie composed by Jules Demersseman
  • Aria composed by Eugene Bozza
  • Sonata composed by Paul Creston
  • Concertino Da Camera composed by Jacques Ibert
  • Sonata composed by Robert Muczynski
  • Joystick composed by Tadd McKeown

 Dr. Linda Ligate, professor of music at Evangel, will provide piano accompaniment.

 Joystick is an original piece by McKeown. For this piece, Benjamin Gutowski, freshman music major, will play alto saxophone; Amanda Campbell, sophomore music education major, will play tenor saxophone; and Riley McBrien, senior music education major, will play bari saxophone.

 McKeown, senior music performance major, is the son of Marty and Sandy McKeown of Sioux City, Iowa.
