Evangel’s Department of Behavioral Sciences announces 2012 graduation awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Evangel University has announced its graduation awards for 2012.

 The awards were given during the baccalaureate service on Thursday, May 3, in Evangel’s chapel auditorium.

 The following Behavioral Sciences awards were presented:

  • The Ryan Parke Hartje Award for Outstanding Student in the Behavioral Sciences—Kaitlyn D. Hasty, Farmington, Mo.
  • Outstanding Student in the Field of Criminal Justice—Benjamin J. Schupanitz, Indianola, Iowa
  • Outstanding Student in the Field of Psychology—Kara N. Ransom, Steelville, Mo.
    • Outstanding Student in the Field of Social Work—Rachel M. Roy, Granite City, Iowa

 Evangel’s 54th annual commencement ceremony was held for 465 graduates on May 4, at James River Assembly of God in Ozark, Mo. Of those graduating, 87 received master’s degrees.
