Tulips bloom at Evangel — public invited to enjoy

April 17, 2013 | Paul K. Logsdon

Once again, Evangel University has invited the local community to visit its campus to see their tulips in bloom.

The grounds crew at Evangel planted more than 16,000 tulips last fall.

“Our tulips are in full bloom, and we would love to share them with the community,” said Paul K. Logsdon, director of public relations.

Each spring, Evangel officials invite residents of the Springfield area to campus to enjoy the flowers and take photos.

“It’s fun for us to see parents taking pictures of their babies in amongst the tulips,” said Logsdon.

The Evangel University campus is located at 1111 N. Glenstone Ave.
