SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Marching Band will perform at Silver Dollar City on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m.

The band, directed by Matt Moore, will lead the new Holly JollyTM Christmas Light Parade, featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & Friends, through the park.

“We’re excited to partner with Silver Dollar City again this year and help by leading the parade,” said Moore. “I can’t think of a better way to close our marching season than beneath five million Christmas lights!”

This event is open to the public and requires the cost of admission into Silver Dollar City.

The Evangel Marching Band will play a new song called “Jingle Bell Jam.” In addition, each section of the band has been asked to work together to do something special for the parade.

“Watch out for nine drum line performers dressed as Santa’s reindeer,” said Moore.
