SPRINGFIELD, Mo. –Senior Desiree Bonitz will perform her senior piano performance recital at Evangel University on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Barnett Recital Hall.
The public is invited to attend, and there is no charge for admission.
“Desiree is no doubt one of the finest music students at Evangel,” said Joel Griffin, director of jazz studies. “This recital will be one of the highlights of the spring semester for the Evangel music department.”
Bonitz is involved in the Evangel Jazz, University and Concert Orchestras.
She is from York, Pa. and will graduate this May with a B.A. in piano performance.

- Etude Op. 25, No. 12 in C minor, Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)
- French Suite IV in E-flat Major, J.S. Bach (1685-1750)
- Rêverie, Claude Debussy (1862-1918)
- Diabolical Suggestion, Op. 4, No. 4, Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953)
Bonitz plans to go on to pursue a masters in piano performance.
