SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Spring 2015 graduate Grace LaPoint completed her Evangel University academic experience at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Ill., June 24-27.

LaPoint placed second in the nation in the Integrated Marketing Campaign competition.

PBL is the college division of Future Business Leaders of America. Nearly 1,800 college students from across the country competed in the PBL Leadership Conference.

“This is a formal presentation before a panel of judges,” said Bernie Dana, chair of the Department of Business.  “This accomplishment reflects Grace’s commitment to preparation and her ability to communicate well.”

Grace graduated in May with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

LaPoint is from Greenbank, Wash., and is the daughter of Mary Martinez-LaPoint.
