EUnite is a closed event for students only.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Andrea Greer and Ramsey Jeanty, resident directors for Spence Hall and Krause Hall at Evangel University, will host a diversity workshop for EU students on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.

“After meeting this summer with several diversity and multicultural directors of other members of the Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), I felt compelled to begin a workshop that would be a catalyst for more conversations on the topic of diversity on Evangel’s campus,” Greer said.

On Saturday from 12:30-3:30 p.m., students will gather in the Crusader Dining Hall to participate in interactive group activities that encompass race, gender, economic status and culture.

Each activity relies on introspective analysis of the individual, as well as group analysis among peers.

“My hope is that this workshop allows students to learn about themselves, but also learn about others in a safe environment,” said Greer.

“My goal is to hold this event every year, and assist in the discussion of diversity and unity on Evangel’s campus,” she said.

To register for EUnite contact Andrea Greer at (417) 865-2815, ext. 7010 or at greera@evangel.edu.
