SPRINGFIELD, MO — Springfield Chief of Police Paul Williams and Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott joined forces with Evangel University on Friday evening, Dec. 2, in support of the good works of The Salvation Army.

Evangel’s Department of Music presented their 33rd Annual Christmas Concert for the benefit the Salvation Army. In the middle of the evening’s festivities, the regions top cops shared the holiday need with the audience of 1,500.

Williams also encouraged the audience to give again on Saturday, announcing that for every $20 bill dropped in to a Red Kettle on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, Don Wessel Honda will match it with a gift of $100. “Your gift to the Salvation Army will expand five times when you give tomorrow,” he said.
