SPRINGFIELD, MO — “Bring your kids and bring your cameras!”
That is the message from Evangel University as, once again, their tulips are in bloom, and Springfield area residents are invited to visit the campus to enjoy the display of color.
The annual photo opportunity has become a local tradition.
“Our tulips are looking great across the front of our campus,” said Paul K. Logsdon, director of public relations. “This is a perfect time for families to take their Easter photos.”
The grounds crew at Evangel planted approximately 9,000 bulbs last fall.
“The tulips in the flower beds facing south are in full bloom now, and the rest are blooming brighter every day,” said Logsdon. “We are happy to share them with our friends and neighbors.”
The Evangel University campus is located at 1111 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield.
