Published on Nov 16, 2017 by Paul K. Logsdon

The Evangel University Marching Band will perform again this year at Silver Dollar City on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m.

The band will lead the 7 p.m. Holly JollyTM Christmas Light Parade, featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & friends with nine lighted floats and 45 costumed characters through the streets of Silver Dollar City.

The Marching Band is directed by Matt Moore. There are 43 members of the marching band travelling to Silver Dollar City to perform this weekend. Along with the band, ten of the Evangel University cheer leaders will also be in the parade.

“I can’t think of a better way to close the marching season than beneath five million Christmas lights,” said Moore. “There is just something special about Silver Dollar City that cannot be matched, especially at this time of year.”

This event is open to the public and requires the cost of admission into Silver Dollar City.
