Published on Mar 2, 2018 by Paul K. Logsdon

President Carol Taylor and the Evangel University Chorale, Orchestra and Sinfonia will travel north to Kansas City for two alumni events this weekend.

On Saturday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m., all alumni, family and friends of Evangel, CBC and AGTS are invited to attend an alumni gathering at Northland Cathedral

“There will be light refreshments as everyone enjoys the opportunity to catch up with alumni and friends, hear an update from President Taylor, and enjoy the music of the Chorale,” said Hector Cruz, director of alumni engagement.

Then on Sunday, March 4, at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m., the Evangel University Chorale, Orchestra and Sinfonia will provide a concert and President Carol Taylor will speak. Those services are open to the public.

Northland Cathedral Worship Center is located at 101 NW 99th, Kansas City, Mo., 64155.

The Chorale is under the direction of Tom Matrone, chair of the Department of Music. The instrumental groups are under the direction of Dr. Larry Dissmore, director of orchestral activities.
