Published on Oct 16, 2018 by Paul K. Logsdon

The annual President’s Leadership Forum will feature two alumni as a part of Evangel University’s 2018 Homecoming Celebration on Friday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public — it will feature a roundtable discussion on “Preaching as Leadership.” The discussion will take place in the Seymour Chapel at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, on the corner of Glenstone and Division.

Panelists include Mike Burnette, who identifies himself as a teacher on his Facebook page, while serving as lead pastor of LifePoint Church in Clarksville, Tennessee. LifePoint was recently named the Fastest Growing Church in the Nation for 2018, by Outreach Magazine. Burnette completed his Master of Divinity in 2008 from AGTS. He and his wife, Stephanie, have four daughters.

Joining him will be David Lindell, campus ministries director and West Campus pastor at James River Church in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Evangel University with a B.A. in 2006, and then earned his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Becky, have four young children.
