Minor in Church Ministries
Students pursuing a Church Ministries minor will have a thorough understanding of fundamentals for ministry in a church setting. By developing a distinctly Christian worldview, students will be able to analyze and overcome many obstacles facing church leaders today. Professors contextualize biblical concepts for application in today’s church ministry landscape in areas of church leadership and administration.
Upon completion of the minor in Church Ministries, students will:
- Demonstrate church leadership through proficiency in teaching, service and potentially worship.
- Direct and lead groups within the local church.
- Understand and adapt appropriate communication styles to various ministry and multi-cultural settings.
- Learn new media technologies and leverage them for effective usage within the church body.
- Utilize human, capital and physical resources of the church for strengthening and growth.
