Church Ministries (Online)
Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries
The Church Ministries program offers online classes for working adults who are interested in serving in a leadership position in a church as a pastor, staff member or lay leader. Students who complete the Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries will have a thorough understanding of ministry in a church setting and will have completed the necessary course work to apply for credentials as a minister with the Assemblies of God.
This is an accelerated program that provides a balanced mix of courses in four areas: Bible and theology; Christian worldview; contextualization of biblical concepts, church ministry values and skills; and church leadership and administration. Our church ministry studies program is focused on quality adult learning in a convenient format. Our classes meet online and are designed to be flexible for learners who hold full-time jobs. Students can expect 15 hours per week of reading, studying, research and writing. You can also take classes in the seated version of the church ministry degree program if you desire a classroom setting.
