You will be challenged to hone your skills in logical argumentation, both deductive and inductive. A focus on the major historical eras in philosophy (Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary) will enhance your educational experience.
Our professors provide practical training in deductive logic, metaphysics and epistemology, and critical thinking. The ultimate goal is to train you how to think, not what to think. A critical and systemic questioning of fundamental life questions will encourage you to refine your Christian worldview.
Majors: Develop an understanding of critical thinking skills, logical argumentation, and historical worldview.
Minors: Gain a foundational understanding of life’s questions and how to think critically about global issues.
Concentrations: Learn how philosophy influences our culture and implement critical thinking skills as you pursue your vocational calling.
