Minor in Psychology
Behavioral and Social Sciences
The Psychology minor is a great complement to any field of study in which an understanding of human behavior is important. Students preparing for people-oriented careers in business, communication, education, government, church ministry, or missions often choose a minor in psychology to augment their degree.
The Behavioral Sciences Department offers rich opportunities to its students through coursework, interaction with faculty and students and the challenge of integrating faith concepts. We also prepare our students for employment and continuing education in graduate school. Students are able to conduct and present research projects and develop professional skills by serving as volunteers and interns in our community. The Psychology minor will give students exposure to these opportunities, providing a wonderful complement to the major of their choosing.
