Guest Lecture: Serving the poor in Angola through ophthalmology by Dr. John Clements


Dr. John Clements is a cornea specialist who recently returned from Angola, where he spent three years as a medical missions doctor. He performed more than 9,000 ocular surgeries and was instrumental in developing a strategy to train Angolan doctors.

He recently joined Oregon Health & Science University as an assistant professor of ophthalmology.
