Kari Hoggard is the Project Lead for a large-scale research study with Convoy of Hope and the University of London, Goldsmiths, along with Dr. Christopher Baker, the principal investigator. Together, they are identifying resilience indicators among households experiencing rapid and slow-onset, disasters. Kari has witnessed firsthand the distress of disasters on global communities, having served in the humanitarian sector most recently as the regional resettlement director for the U.S. Committee of Refugees and Immigrants. Kari is an alumna of Evangel University and Washington University in St. Louis.Washington University
