SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University welcomes CeCe Winans to campus for a concert on April 29 at 7 p.m. in Spence Chapel. The public is invited to attend.
The concert is part of Winan’s “Believe For It” tour, presented by Compassion International. Tickets are available online at https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/06005E50CC0F746F.
Winans has recorded and performed as both a solo artist and as a duo with her brother, BeBe, and has influenced a generation of gospel and secular vocalists over the course of her career. She is the bestselling and most awarded female gospel artist of all time, with 12 Grammy Awards, 20 Dove Awards, and seven Stellar Awards to her name.
Winans has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Nashville Music City Walk of Fame.
Other concerts at Evangel this spring include Christian band Big Daddy Weave on March 18 and Grammy Award-winning Christian singer and songwriter Brooke Ligertwood on March 23.
