SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University welcomes nine full-time faculty members for the 2024-25 school year.
Dr. Kristopher Blanchard is the program director for Evangel’s College of Online Learning Business program and a related online learning professor. He has served in a variety of academic appointments, including professor of accounting at Purdue Global Remote, assistant professor of accounting at Wartburg College, and several positions at Upper Iowa University, including MBA program chair, among others.
Blanchard holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana State University as well as a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University. He is a certified public accountant under the Iowa Accountancy Examining Board.
Angeline Bradford serves as an assistant professor of theater in the Humanities Department. She transitions to Evangel from San Antonio, Texas where she served as a theatre teacher and director for Bradley Middle School and Cornerstone Christian Schools.
Bradford holds bachelor’s degrees in theatre and speech education from Evangel, a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in directing from the University of Idaho, and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Education from the University of Houston.
Jade Coatney is an assistant professor in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Department. She previously served as a senior social service specialist in the Children’s Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services.
Coatney holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Evangel, a Master of Social Work from Washington University, and is a licensed master social worker.
Dr. Cynthia MacGregor is a professor and Ed.D. program coordinator in Evangel’s Education Department. She served in various academic appointments and positions at Missouri State University and Drury University prior to Evangel, including MSU’s site coordinator of the statewide cooperative Ed.D. program through the University of Missouri–Columbia. In addition to her work in the education field, she also has experience in the mental health field, serving in a variety of roles with Burrell and the Human Potential Counseling Foundation.
MacGregor holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and math from Central Missouri State University, a master’s degree in psychology, and an Ed.D. in in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Marian Rader is an assistant professor of accounting in the Business Department. Rader transitions to Evangel from Cherry Bekaert where she served as a senior associate following almost a decade of service in the Office of the Missouri State Auditor, serving as senior auditor from 2016-2023.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration, accounting, and criminal justice from Evangel and a Master of Accountancy from Missouri State University. She is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, certified government financial manager, and certified in financial forensics.
Dr. Derrick Rosenior is the director of the William J. Seymour Initiative at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, the embedded seminary of Evangel University. He previously served as an assistant professor in the Department of Communication and as director of the Lewis Institute for Pentecostal Studies at Vanguard University. He has also held teaching positions at Washington Adventist University, Howard University, and Central Michigan University.
Rosenior holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Fairmont State University, a Master of Arts in Interpersonal and Public Communication from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Rhetoric and Intercultural Communication from Howard University.
Nicholas Santo is an assistant professor of chemistry in the Natural & Applied Sciences Department. He conducted three years of graduate-level chemistry research while pursuing his Master of Chemistry degree from the University of Missouri. He was also awarded a first-place recognition for his undergraduate research in chemistry from the regional chapter of the American Chemical Society. Santo is also a certified Assemblies of God minister.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from College of the Ozarks and a Master of Chemistry degree from the University of Missouri.
Dr. Daniel Sebastian is an assistant professor of theology and practical ministries in the Theology & Global Church Ministries Department. He transitions to Evangel from Southern Methodist University where he served as an adjunct lecturer, teaching assistant, and research assistant. He has also served as a lecturer for Continental Theological Seminary in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium and Addis Ababa Bible College in Ethiopia.
Sebastian holds bachelor’s degrees in biblical studies and accounting from Evangel University, a Master of Art in Religious Studies from Missouri State University, and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Southern Methodist University. He is a credentialed Assemblies of God minister and a certified public accountant.
Dr. Rebecca Wills is an associate professor for Evangel’s College of Online Learning Clinical Mental Health program. Prior to Evangel, Wills served as an assistant professor in the Behavioral Sciences Department at the University of Valley Forge. In addition to her role at the University of Valley Forge, Wills has had academic appointments at Kutztown University, Immaculata University, Regent University, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and has served in clinical roles at Hope Counseling Center and South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible from the University of Valley Forge, a Master of Arts in Community/Clinical Counseling from Eastern University and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education & Supervision at Regent University.
