SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Chris Latorre, music major, will perform his senior trumpet recital on Thursday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m in the Barnett Recital Hall. The public is welcome to attend and admission is free.
For Latorre’s recital, he will play mostly jazz tunes. He also will have a rhythm section for his recital consisting of sophomore John Osborn, bassist, junior Josh Parrish, drummer and junior Desiree Bonitz, pianist.

“I have been playing the trumpet since I was eight years old,” Latorre said. “It has always been a passion of mine.”
Latorre is the son of Fernando Latorre of Glenolden, Penn., and Nellie Carde of Blackwood, N.J.
