Springfield, Mo. — This may be the last weekend to get great photos with the 20,000 tulips at Evangel University, school officials report. Once again, the community is invited to bring kids and cameras and enjoy the beauty.

“There are still thousands of tulips in full bloom,” said Paul K. Logsdon, director of public relations.

“The best are those planted in shady areas and along the north sides of buildings.”

“While here, check out the dogwood trees that are just now looking great,” he added. Each spring, Evangel officials invite residents of the Springfield area to campus to enjoy the landscaped beauty.

“We love seeing visitors young and old on campus,” said Logsdon.

The Evangel University campus is located at 1111 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield.
