Tell us about your career and what you do now.
After almost 15 years as the events planner for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, I’m going back to school for a Masters in Arts Management at the American University of Rome
What is your favorite memory from Evangel?
All the lifelong friendships. My time on the Lance staff. Dr. Turnbuill’s trips to France (This is why I’m going to school in Rome).
How did Evangel help you identify/develop your calling?
To help me realize I can still be a minister in a secular career. To listen for God’s voice in all my decisions and that His plan is the best.
How did your experience at Evangel prepare you for life after graduation?
Integrity is what will make or break your career
What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?
Be sure to take advantage of internships so you know what career path you want. They will also help you find a job.
What would you look for if you were in a position to hire new graduates from Evangel?
I would look for someone with integrity, faithfulness, and reliability.
