Tell us about your career and what you do now.

I have recently started a job as an SEO Specialist at a global marketing firm that works exclusively with Pregnancy Resource Centers. My work is more than strategy—it’s a calling. I believe that digital spaces are modern mission fields, and I feel deeply honored to use my skills to help life-affirming ministries reach the women God is leading their way.

Before stepping into this role, I served as the Executive Director of a Pregnancy Care Center. That season of ministry gave me firsthand insight into the heart, challenges, and sacred impact of this work. It shaped how I approach SEO today—with compassion, intentionality, and a Kingdom mindset.

Every campaign I build is prayerfully crafted to help centers be seen, found, and trusted—so they can continue offering hope, truth, and love to women in need. I see my role as a behind-the-scenes partner in ministry, helping advance the Gospel one search result at a time.

Tell us one achievement or accomplishment that stands out in your career!

Before stepping my current role, I served as the Executive Director of a Pregnancy Care Center, where I had the incredible opportunity to lead and serve on the front lines of ministry. One of the highlights of that season was co-directing a major fundraising event—an effort that not only met our financial budget but also rallied community support around the mission of life. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the dedication, strategy, and faith it takes to sustain a Christ-centered nonprofit, and it continues to shape the heart behind my work today.

What is your favorite memory from your time as a student?

One of my favorite and most life-shaping memories of Evangel was the mentorship I received from Nancy Pace-Miller. Her wisdom, faith, and willingness to invest in me helped shape not just my calling, but the woman I was becoming. Her guidance was deeply personal, spiritually rich, and something I will always carry with me.

Evangel was also the place where I formed some of the most meaningful relationships of my life—including meeting my husband, Kyle. Our story began on that campus, surrounded by a community that challenged us to grow, love, and serve in deeper ways. From lifelong friendships to late-night dorm conversations and moments of spiritual breakthrough, Evangel was more than a college—it was a foundation.

How did your school help you identify/develop your calling?

My time at Evangel was instrumental in helping me identify and develop my calling, and one of the highlights was Spiritual Emphasis Week. Those dedicated days of worship, teaching, and prayer created a powerful environment where the Holy Spirit moved freely—and I’m so thankful to have been at a school that truly valued and encouraged that spiritual work.

Serving as the assistant leader of the Rain Impact Team was a defining part of my journey. Leading alongside others in ministry on campus equipped me with hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork, and spiritual responsibility. It prepared me not only to serve effectively in my current full-time marketing role—supporting Pregnancy Resource Centers with purpose and passion—but also to walk faithfully as a pastor’s wife.

The combination of mentorship, spiritual community, and practical ministry experience at Evangel gave me the foundation to follow God’s call in both professional and personal ways. I’m deeply grateful for how those years shaped my heart and equipped me to serve in all aspects of ministry today.

How did your experience as a student prepare you for life after graduation?

My experience as a student prepared me well for life after graduation by helping me grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Through opportunities to lead, learn, and serve, I developed important skills like teamwork, communication, and leadership that have been valuable in every area of my life.

The supportive community and mentorship I found during my studies encouraged me to pursue my goals with confidence and integrity. Overall, my education helped shape me into a well-rounded and resilient individual, ready to face new challenges and opportunities with a strong foundation.

What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?

My advice to students preparing for the workforce is to remember that God has a unique and perfect plan for your life. Even when the future feels uncertain, trust that He is working behind the scenes.

Stay rooted in prayer and open to His guidance. Your career is part of your calling and a way to serve His Kingdom. Let your faith be your foundation in every decision.

God equips those He calls—so step forward with confidence, humility, and a heart ready to follow wherever He leads. Your journey is in His hands, and He will direct your steps.

What would you look for if you were in a position to hire new graduates from Evangel?

I would look for candidates who demonstrate not only strong skills and a solid work ethic but also a genuine faith that shapes their character and approach to work. I’d value individuals who are humble, teachable, and committed to serving others with integrity.

I would seek graduates who are adaptable and willing to grow, understanding that every role is an opportunity to glorify God and make a positive impact. Those who actively live out their faith—showing compassion, perseverance, and a servant’s heart—stand out as the kind of people who will thrive both professionally and personally.
