An Attitude to Accomplish

Paul nurtured in the Roman Christians an attitude to accomplish. We “consolidated alums” also want to cultivate an attitude to accomplish God’s purposes in marketplaces, ministry leadership, and global missions. Paul helps with this objective.

Romans 1: 1 This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News.

  • A godly identity fuels a proper attitude to accomplish.

God promised this Good News… through his prophets in the holy Scriptures.

  • An attitude to accomplish holds eternal importance when anchored in Scripture.

The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David’s family line,

  • An attitude to accomplish makes most sense when expressed through human interaction.

and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

  • God validates our attitude to accomplish when the Holy Spirit breathes on what we invest for His purposes.

If Paul had verbalized these first verses, he might have breathlessly declared the final six-words: “He is Jesus Christ our Lord.”

  • An attitude to accomplish maintains meaning when connected to His name and our undisputed submission to His Lordship.

Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority… so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. And you are included… to belong to Jesus Christ.

  • Paul’s attitude to accomplish expressed itself as a privileged occupation, never an onerous task. His attitude to accomplish unashamedly connected to Jesus. We get to display the same attitude! (Romans 1:16)

I am writing to all of you in Rome who are loved by God and are called to be his own holy people. May… the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

  • An attitude to accomplish, separated from grace, will not produce peace. Any grace-less successes will drift away like dandelion puffballs on the wind.

Let’s cultivate an attitude to accomplish and provide healthy examples to future-ready graduates. If you have a word about perseverance and fruitfulness for current students, please share via email. YanceyT@evangel.edu.
