It Is Written: A Season of Hope at Evangel

This fall has marked an extraordinary season at Evangel University. Enrollment is climbing, new students are filling classrooms, and our chapel services have been full—not just of students, but of the unmistakable Presence of God. There is a renewed sense of expectancy on our campus, as though Heaven itself is reminding us that the story of Evangel is one of hope.

In Scripture, the phrase “It is written” appears again and again as a declaration of God’s faithfulness. Jesus used those very words to overcome temptation in the wilderness, showing us that God’s written Word carries prophetic power. When we lift our voices in worship, we are not simply singing songs—we are making prophetic declarations of who God is and what He has promised. Praise shifts the atmosphere. Negativity cannot stand where praise and worship rise.

That is exactly what we are experiencing in our chapels: students discovering that praise is more than an expression of gratitude—it is an act of faith that pulls Heaven’s reality into our present. And when God’s Presence fills the room, hearts are transformed, hope is restored, and lives are changed.

As an Evangel family, you—our alumni and donors—are a vital part of this unfolding story. Your prayers and support are helping create an environment where students can encounter the living God and be equipped to carry His hope into the world. Together, we are writing the next chapter of Evangel’s story, and it ends in HOPE.
