A proud native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Alfred has a passion to help people of all backgrounds interpret the Bible. Prior to attending seminary, he spent a year in Malaysia and India with a mission organization. He has published articles relating to Greco-Roman historiography and biography, as well as the sermon ‘To the Hebrews’. Dr. Alfred has served churches in Texas and Oklahoma in the roles of Associate Pastor and Christian Education Director. He met his wife Hannah while they were both seminary students at Oral Roberts University, and they have one wonderful daughter, Corrie.
