Darin’s mission is to be a loyal and loving husband, father, and friend who lives with a humility and intentionality that leads others toward a life of purpose and generosity, all for the glory of God.

Darin was called to preach to students at the age of 16 at a Southern California Youth Camp. He attended Evangel University from 1984-1988, on a football scholarship. After graduating in 1988, Darin became the youth pastor at Calvary Temple in Springfield, Missouri. During the seven years at Calvary, he became very involved in district events, which led to him being asked to serve as the District Youth Director for Southern Missouri in 1996. For almost 23 years, Darin passionately served students through camps, conventions, mission’s trips, and discipleship programs. At the same time, he developed many tools and programs to equip youth leaders. In September of 2018, Darin was asked to serve as the National Director of Student Discipleship for the Assemblies of God. In this role, he oversaw the AIM, Bible Quiz, Fine Arts, and Youth Alive ministries as well as resource development. Darin was named the Director of the AG Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow Project in May of 2023 where his focus is on helping identify, equip, release, and develop those God has called into pastoral ministry.

Darin has been married for 34 years to Heather and has two married children: Megan is married to Nick Bearden, and Gavin is married to Cassidy and have their two grandsons, Henry & Charlie.
