Prior to teaching at Evangel, I taught Media Management and Law, Pastor as Financial Officer, Personal and Nonprofit/Church Finance at other colleges.

Personal Information: Dr. Amer lives in Springfield, Missouri.

Dr. Amer has distinguished herself as a business owner, speaker, and writer. She is the founder of The H Group, a creative marketing company that assists businesses with electronic, print, and social media marketing. This includes branding strategies, using all types of social media, as well at traditional media, such as Radio, TV, and Print publications. The H Group researches the technology trends in marketing, such as the development of electronic apps for smart phones or text message marketing systems to further increase businesses interaction with their customers.

Dr. Amer is the author of the best selling book, Smart Work U, a book that focuses on helping prospective college students achieve the most from their college experience, in the most cost effective manner. She has also created a community at www.SmartWorkU.com that provides students and parents free budget forms, videos about applying for scholarships, paying bills in college, meeting with college advisors, and more. She conducts seminars about personal finance and saving money on college.

Dr. Amer graduated from Evangel University in 2 years with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She received her M.B.A. from Missouri State University. She serves as an adjunct college professor and spends her spare time writing to help improve the lives of others.
