Jane Munson-Berg, soprano has sung leading roles and solo appearances with companies and orchestras across the U.S. and in Europe. She has also produced and directed many operas both for Springfield Regional Opera and as an educator at Evangel University (1989-2010, 2017-present) and at Southwest Baptist University (2012-2017). She was a Regional Finalist for the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and was named an Outstanding Apprentice Artist at the Santa Fe Opera. She earned the Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Louisiana State University (1976), a Master of Music in Voice Performance at the Manhattan School of Music (1981), and diploma in Opera and Art Song at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Munich, Germany. Former students include the internationally known Bari-Tenor Michael Spyres and soprano Gabriela Reyes, Katelyn Lee, Daniel Gutierrez, Jason Honeycutt, Kayla Kernsvaal and many others.
