Lindsay taught middle- and high-school English for five years in the Springfield Public Schools district before staying home to home school her children. She has worked with the Missouri Reading Initiative, Missouri Virtual School, and the Missouri Writing Project, providing professional development opportunities to rural schools. She also teaches with the HSLDA Online Academy through Patrick Henry College and Liberty University Online Academy through Liberty University.
