Center for Compassion – 2022 EU Graduation Awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Center for Compassion at Evangel University has announced its 2022 outstanding graduate awards. The awards were presented during the traditional undergraduate baccalaureate service held on Thursday, May 5 in the Robert H. Spence Chapel auditorium.

The Center for Compassion connects the Evangel community with a theology of compassion that courageously identifies with and elevates the hurting while guarding human dignity. This is done through both community engagement initiatives and academic focus.

The center offers a Community Relief and Development degree (major and minor) that is available in-person and online.

The following awards were presented:

The Class of 2022

Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary celebrated 536 graduates at a joint commencement ceremony at Great Southern Bank Arena (formerly known as JQH Arena) in Springfield on May 5. Graduates earned a total of 31 doctoral, 95 master’s, 360 bachelor’s and 50 associate’s degrees. The majority of the AAs are from Evangel’s James River College campus.
