SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Emily Engebretson, music major, will perform her junior flute recital at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall at Evangel University.
There is no charge for admission, and the public is invited to attend.
Engebretson’s performance will include the following pieces:
- Piccolo Concerto in C major, RV. 442, P.79, F. VI no. 4, by Antonio Vivaldi
- Piece en Forme de Habanera, by Maurice Ravel
- Un Joueur de Flute Berce les Ruines, by Francis Poulenc
- Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando, by Philippe Gaubert
- Orange Dawn, by Ian Clarke
- Duo Concertante in F Major, no. 3, Op. 12, by Franz Anton Hoffmeister
David Giles, music department chair of Baptist Bible College, will provide piano accompaniment for the recital.
Emily’s husband, senior Adam Engebretson, will provide accompaniment on the Duo Concertante in F Major, no.3, Op.12.
