Evangel professor presents professional development seminar in Nebraska

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Bernie Dana, associate professor and chair of the Evangel University Department of Business, presented a professional development seminar titled “If You Can’t Measure Quality, You Can’t Claim It” in Lincoln, Neb., on Sept. 18.

The seminar was part of the 2012 Fall Convention of the Nebraska Health Care Association.

Prior to joining the Evangel faculty in 2001, Dana served for 28 years as a corporate executive and consultant in the long-term care profession where he is nationally recognized for his expertise in quality management.  He has served as chair of the Board of Overseers for the National Quality Award program of the American Health Care Association (AHCA).  He is the author of a book on quality management published by AHCA.

The Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA) is a non-profit trade association providing advocacy and educational services for proprietary, nonprofit, and governmental long term care facilities and businesses in the field of long term care.  NHCA is an affiliate of the American Health Care Association which represents nearly 11,000 skilled nursing and assisted living organizations throughout the United States.
