Evangel senior Krystelle Arneson to present senior piano recital on Thursday, March 27

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University music performance senior, Krystelle Arneson, will perform her senior piano recital on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barnett Recital Hall.

The public is invited to attend, and there is no cost for admission.

  • Prelude and Fugue in G sharp minor, No. 18, BWV 887, by Johann Sebastian Bach
  • Piano Sonata No. 13 in E-flat Major, Op. 27, No. 1, by Ludwig van Beethoven                    
    • Andante
    • Allegro molto e vivace
    • Adagio con espressione
    • Allegro vivace
  • Etude Op. 25, No. 5 and No. 7, by Frederic Chopin
  • Desperate Measures (Paganini Variations), by Robert Muczynski
  • Transcendental Etude No.10, by Franz Liszt

“I pursued a music degree because I wanted to grow in my musical skills and learn how to be a better teacher,” Arneson said. “Evangel’s music department helped me to do this.”

After graduation, Arneson wants to pursue a master’s degree in piano pedagogy. Arneson would also like to own her own piano studio and work as a church music director.

Arneson is the daughter of Darrell and Sharon Arneson of Brooks, Ore.
