Evangel students McBrien and Miles to perform junior recital

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Evangel University juniors Riley McBrien and Kyrie Miles will perform a joint recital at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 14, in the Barnett Fine Arts Recital Hall.

Miles will be playing the flute and singing, and McBrien will be playing the clarinet and singing.

The program includes The Suite Modale by Ernest Bloch and Sonata for Clarinet and Piano by Francis Poulenc, as well as two vocal pieces.

Jonathan Mussetter, a 2011 Evangel graduate and current music education graduate student, will provide accompaniment.

McBrien is a junior music education major with dual certification in clarinet and voice. He is the son of Steven and Gwen McBrien of Muskogee, Okla.

Miles is a junior music education major with dual certification in flute and voice. She is the daughter of Bill and Kathy Miles of Ava, Mo.
