SPRINGFIELD, Mo. –– The career services office at Evangel University will present Career Week 2014 on March 24-28, with the theme Stand Out. Career Week events will provide students with the opportunity to network with local professionals and explore options for post-graduate internships, jobs, service and higher education.
“Career Week helps students learn about possibilities after graduation and prepare for the world of work through hands-on workshops and the on-campus career fair,” said Tina Moore, career services director.
Activities and events:
- Stand Out: Put Your Best Foot Forward – 10 a.m., Monday, March 24, in Trask 102. This presentation and discussion will examine the application and interview processes.
- Senior etiquette dinner – 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, in Crusader Hall 115. Senior participants must RSVP and purchase a $5 ticket.
- Career fair – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, in the Cantrell Student Union. This event is sponsored by Enterprise Holdings and Wyndham Vacation Ownership.
- Coloring competition – March 24-March 27. Winners will receive Target gift cards for the following amounts: $30 for first place, $20 for second place and $10 for third place.
