SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Department of Science and Technology has announced its graduation awards for 2014.
The awards were given during the baccalaureate service on Thursday, May 1, in the Robert H. Spence Chapel auditorium.
The following awards were presented:
Outstanding Graduate in Science and Technology — Shelbi D. Frye from Normal, Ill.
Outstanding Graduate in Biology — Nicole A. Sullivan from Waconia, Minn.
Outstanding Graduate in Biology Education — Katelyn R. Tolle from Bevier, Mo.
Outstanding Graduate in Biological Chemistry — Jerrica N. Reynolds from Altamont, Kansas
Outstanding Graduate in Applied Mathematics — Allison E. Boyer from Battle Creek, Mich.
Outstanding Graduate in Computer Information Systems — Victor M. Bushong from Montezuma, Iowa
Outstanding Graduate in Computer Science — Victor M. Bushong
Outstanding Graduate in Health Care/Nursing — Hannah R. Morris from Siloam Springs, Ark.
Outstanding Graduates in Mathematics

Outstanding Graduate in Math Education — Megan R. Hallmark from Grants Pass, Ore.
Outstanding Graduate in Pre-Medicine — Kaylyn Marie Hicks McAllister from Owasso, Okla.
This year, a total of 595 degrees were conferred at Evangel’s graduation, including 337 traditional undergraduate, 76 adult studies and 68 master’s degrees. Also included in the total were 76 bachelor’s degrees from Central Bible College and 38 associate’s degrees from James River Leadership Campus.
