The state-of-the-art 58,000 square foot facility will be home to 224 students in 116 dorm rooms 108 double-occupancy and 8 single occupancy rooms. Each room features its own private bathroom and two windows that provide abundant natural light.

It features 4 distinctly unique floors designed to allow students to build lasting community. The first floor focuses on connection and hospitality with designated gathering areas and a community kitchen. The second floor is all about engagement. Here students can watch television, play ping-pong, foosball, pool, or simply spend time together between classes. Places to study, meet, and pray are located on the third floor, as well as a movie theater room. Finally, the fourth floor boasts some of the most iconic views on campus, while still creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for students.

Flood Hall is the first new residence hall at Evangel University in 40 years. It is named for Daryl and Lois Flood, founders of Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics. Their commitment to faith, vision, and diligent leadership, grew their company into one of the largest moving and relocation businesses in the country.

The Floods embody a principle we deeply value at Evangel: that God calls people into every arena of life.

“I know no greater opportunity than investing in young people who are on fire for Jesus Christ.” Daryl Flood.

Daryl and Lois Flood Residence Hall was built entirely through designated gifts and donor support, with a total project investment of approximately $16.5 million, including the building, furnishings, parking, and supporting infrastructure.

The building was designed by Buxton Kubik Dodd and constructed by Williams Construction.
