SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) announces the launch of AGTS International, a new initiative designed to provide accessible, practical, Pentecostal theological education to ministry leaders around the world, regardless of geographic or economic barriers.
AGTS International offers fully online Master of Leadership & Ministry and Doctor of Ministry degree programs in both English and Spanish. The programs are tailored to equip leaders to serve effectively in their home contexts, whether in urban centers or remote regions, without leaving their ministries, families, or local communities.
“We’re expanding access to the kind of theological depth and practical ministry training that has long distinguished AGTS,” said Dr. Wade Mumm, seminary vice president. “This initiative allows us to invest in leaders who are already shaping the future of the Church around the world.”
AGTS International emphasizes:
- 100% online delivery so students can remain in their home country and continue their existing ministry or work.
- Regionally adjusted tuition rates for non-U.S. residents studying online, making quality theological education more affordable.
- Faculty support and global mentoring, fostering community among students from diverse nations.
- Bilingual options (English and Spanish) to broaden reach and inclusivity.
Enrollment is now open for Fall 2026 courses. Applicants may select their regional rate based on their country of residence.
“We’ve launched AGTS International because of our deep belief that every ministry practitioner deserves access to rigorous, Scripturally-sound training that respects cultural context and the real constraints many global leaders face,” Mumm said.
With the launch of AGTS International, the seminary positions itself at the forefront of global theological education, bridging access, excellence, and mission across cultural lines.
