SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – EU Films will be presenting the dramatic film “Archived” on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 6 and 8 p.m. in the Barnett Recital Hall located on Evangel University’s campus. General admission tickets are free at the door. The public is invited to attend.

“Archived” is a dramatic love story between college students Jasper and Saela who get together and later break up only to run into one another years later. There is pain and regret that must be overcome if their relationship is to be rekindled.

Other actors include Logan Crafton (’23) and sophomore Rebekah Harper. Directing the film is Kaylee Clay, a senior at Evangel. Clay has been both an actor and filmmaker with EU Films since her freshman year. Producing the film is sophomore Titus Smith, and film editing is primarily by senior Evan Espinosa. Films are supervised by executive producer and adviser Dr. Cameron Pace.

Dr. Cameron Pace, chair of EU’s Communication Department

“It was our goal in this film to create something that was both entertaining and emotionally

dramatic in tone. There are both joyful and sorrowful moments in this story, “ said Pace.

The “Archived” screenplay was written by MyAun Boyd and Titus Smith from an original story idea from Kaylee Clay and Titus Smith.

EU Films is a student media organization located in the Communication Department at Evangel
