SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University recently received certification from the Excellence in Giving (EIG) advisory firm for its transparency to donors in financial reporting. Evangel is one of 600 foundations vetted and certified by the EIG firm.
The university underwent a rigorous application process that included the submission of 175 strategy, leadership, financial, and impact data in order to receive this certification.

EIG is a philanthropic advisory firm committed to helping high-capacity donors set and achieve charitable giving goals. The firm serves as a clearinghouse for donors to find reputable and transparent companies and organizations to support. Founded in 2002, Excellence in Giving clients give nearly $70 million to over 600 nonprofits every year.
