SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Marilyn Campbell, administrative assistant in the Evangel University Business Department, will retire after thirty-six years of service.

Campbell’s time at Evangel began in 1976. After spending four years in the former communications and art department, she served in the business department for 32 years. Evangel faculty and staff will celebrate her career and retirement with a reception on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

“Marilyn has touched the lives of more than a thousand business students over the past 32 years,” said Bernie Dana, business department chair. “Her heart has always been to serve students well.”

“The students have always been the very best part of my job, and I’ll miss that contact more than anything,” Campbell said. “I can’t believe the years have flown by so quickly.”

Campbell plans to spend more time with her family in Arkansas.
