SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Department of Natural & Applied Sciences at Evangel University has announced its 2023 graduation awards. The awards were presented during the traditional undergraduate baccalaureate service held on Thursday, May 4 in the Robert H. Spence Chapel.
The Department of Natural & Applied Sciences offers a variety of innovative majors to prepare students for careers ranging from education to the environment, including chemistry, computers, pre-engineering, and health care.
A cadaver lab was added in 2016, enhancing the educational experience for pre-med students.

The Class of 2023
Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary celebrated 579 graduates at a joint commencement ceremony at Great Southern Bank Arena (formerly known as JQH Arena) in Springfield on May 4. Graduates earned a total of 24 doctoral, 154 master’s, 357 bachelor’s, and 44 associate’s degrees. The majority of the AAs are from Evangel’s James River College campus.
