Evangel University students will benefit from two $10,000-scholarship grants recently provided to the Missouri Colleges Fund.
The donations were made by H&R Block Bank / H&R Block Foundation and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation. The funds will underwrite need-based scholarships for students attending MCF member schools.
“Evangel University is grateful for these generous gifts,” said Robert H. Spence, president of Evangel. “The leaders of H&R Block and Burlington Northern Santa Fe recognize the importance of education and the significant impact that an educated workforce has on Missouri’s economy.”
