CBC and AGTS alumni perspective: Dr. Darryl Wootton

Dr. Darryl Wootton serves as network pastor and superintendent of the Oklahoma Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God, overseeing 450 churches and 1,500 ministers. Elected in 2021, he supports pastors by offering encouragement, preaching, coaching, and leadership development.

A 1992 graduate of Central Bible College with a degree in Bible, Wootton began his career in youth ministry in Ohio, then later served as youth pastor at Carbondale AG in Tulsa, OK, where he served for 10 years before becoming lead pastor of SpiritCHURCH in Bartlesville, OK in 2002.

During his nearly two decades of Spirit-anointed leadership at SpiritCHURCH, Wootton earned a master’s in theology from Oral Roberts University in 2007 and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2012.

A trusted voice within the AG fellowship, Wootton has served as a general presbyter, OK District executive presbyter, Evangel University board of trustee member, and AGTS advisory board chairman.

Wootton and his wife, Faith, have three children and live in Oklahoma City, OK.
