Tell us about your career and what you do now.

As Director of MyCounselor.Online, I get to lead an outstanding clinical team in providing professional counseling to ministry families across the country and around the world. It’s pretty awesome.

What is your favorite memory from CBC?

It’s a tie between Matt & Mandy Dove’s skit where Mandy drank Matt’s teeth brushing spit out of her bowl of cereal and Dan Betzer encouraging us with “Remember, Moses was a loser until he was 80.”

How did CBC help you identify/develop your calling?

The professors, chapel, and classmates challenged me to be fully surrendered to the calling God had on my life.

How did your experience at CBC prepare you for life after graduation?

The theological training and relationships developed at CBC are foundational to the ministry that I do every week.

What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?

I would encourage them to take theological studies seriously as they lay a foundation for a strong ministry. And, don’t just study them academically, pursue the application of them personally.

What would you look for if you were in a position to hire a new graduate?

I’m looking for graduates with a Masters in Counseling and a pastoral heart, who care deeply about integrating the truths of Scripture into the work of counseling.
