As a biologist and a person of faith, Lauren is fascinated by the beauty, complexity, and connectivity of the natural world. Her current research interests involve culturally competent science education and the relationships between science and faith. She loves facilitating conversations with students that encourage critical thinking, practical application of biology concepts, and the integration of science with their faith.
Lauren’s hobbies include travelling with her husband Chris (also an EU grad), kayaking, hammocking, and exploring the natural world. She loves a good book, good coffee, and good conversations.
