SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A group of ten Evangel University adjunct music professors will perform a special recital on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barnett Recital Hall.
The concert is free and open to the public.
“Several of these stellar musicians will be joining together to perform as small ensembles,” said Tom Matrone, chair of the Department of Music. “This special evening will open with two 2-piano pieces and will feature a variety of performance areas, such as voice, French horn, trumpet, cello and guitar.”
The professors performing are Jennifer Forni, voice; Jane Harris, piano; Angela Holland, voice; Eric Jackson, horn; Linda Ligate, piano; Mike McAdoo, guitar; Matt Pierce, cello; Sheryl Slater, clarinet; Susan Smith, voice; and Tim Wootton, trumpet.
The recital hall is located in the Barnett Fine Arts Center, which is just south of the Robert H. Spence Chapel, facing Glenstone Ave.
