EU Faculty Brass Quintet performs Feb. 26

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Faculty Brass Quintet will perform in the Barnett Recital Hall on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public. The Barnett Recital Hall is just south of the Robert H. Spence Chapel, facing Glenstone Ave.

The Faculty Brass Quintet is the brass quintet-in-residence at Evangel University, and it includes Tim Wootton and Darren Eddington (trumpet), Dr. Eric Jackson (horn), Matt Moore (trombone) and Dr. Brad Coker (tuba).

“This concert will feature the world premiere of a new piece,” said Wootton. “It should have something for everyone, from standard brass quintet literature and popular wind band music, to fun jazz selections.”
